Mechanic (2nd Shift) – Starts at $25/hour

Starts at $25/hour

Second Shift – 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Including weekends and holidays) 40 hours/week.

A Mechanic will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. A Mechanic will also perform preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows based computer system. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communications skills are necessary. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment and systems function efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, providing professional and courteous service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and well-functioning resort environment.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately.

Qualifications

• 3- 5 years work experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC troubleshooting & repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hotel or resort maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
