Yuba City manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for assembly technicians in a newly-formed component fabrication team. The team is tasked with fabricating small and medium size components that go into our industry-leading agricultural vehicles. We provide the tools and materials, you provide the talent and motivation, and together we will provide innovative, quality products to our customers.

Assembly Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, adjust and repair heavy vehicle components such as engines, hydraulics, suspension, etc.
• Assemble and service hydraulic systems
• Fabricate hydraulic hoses as needed
• Identify parts and read engineering drawings of major and minor components and assemblies
• General metal-working tasks and some metal inert gas welding
• Install air-conditioning systems and assemble related components
• Industrial application of polyurethane/enamel coatings and general paint preparation
• Install 12 volt electrical components
• Industrial frame mock-up, heavy body assembly and modification
• Follow all OSHA guidelines for safety (including responsible handling of hazardous waste).
• Maintain employer-provided toolbox

Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with and ability to use various hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, as well as power tools such as cordless drills and impact guns.
• Ability to work in a small team as well as independently produce results.
• Ability to understand and articulate mechanical operations and practices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and hand drawings.
• Independently assess parts discrepancies and seek resolutions.
• Ability to function within the chain of command.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to read prints, drawings, and job instructions as well as use tape measures, angle gauges, squares, and other small tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals
• Willingness to learn new concepts and contribute meaningfully to the team

Pay:

DOE $18-19.00
