Shift: 1st Shift jobs-near-me.org Monday – Friday jobs-near-me.org 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and high-precision systems per detailed engineering drawings
• Build and install fluid systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and coolant lines
• Assist in the mounting, routing, and limited design modifications of components
• Prepare accurate time estimates for projects and assist with quoting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and production
• Document build processes and provide post-project analysis for future improvements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Lift up to 35 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical assembly experience (machine building preferred)
• Proficiency with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with geometric tolerancing and inspection processes
• Hands-on skills in manual milling, turning, and grinding preferred
• Experience with CAD (2D) and industrial control systems (FANUC, Mitsubishi, Siemens)
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
