Mechanical Engineer

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master’s degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a mechanical engineer for FBM Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing Fire Control Tactical, Trainer, and Test equipment.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Electromechanical equipment design, Electronics Packaging design, Production Support, Installation Support, Environmental Testing, Modeling & Analysis, and/or Drawing development.

Target salary range: USD $95,384.00/Yr. – USD $105,817.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
