I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in mechanical engineering, for a Project Manager – Automation position.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week), fully on-site.Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for the following tasks:Responsibilities:
Full management of mechanical engineering projects, from design to deliveryAnalyzing client needs and developing appropriate technical solutionsDesigning and validating lifting systems for infrastructureCoordinating with internal and external stakeholders (production, clients, suppliers, subcontractors)Monitoring project costs, timelines, and qualityWriting technical documentation and progress reportsParticipating in equipment testing and validation before deliveryOther related duties as requiredYour Profile
University degree in Mechanical EngineeringOIQ membership (Order of Engineers of Quebec) is an assetMinimum 5 years of experience in engineering project managementExperience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, ideally with machinery and equipmentProficiency with project management toolsBilingual in French and EnglishNote: English is required for this position due to:Communication with North American clientsCollaboration with English-speaking partnersDrafting documents in EnglishFed Manutech CanadaFed Manutech is an independent player specialized temporary and permanent recruitment market.
