• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
• Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address quality issues

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector or similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Understanding of quality control processes
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Education:Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in Mechanical EngineeringExperience:Minimum of 2 years in a mechanical inspection roleKnowledge and Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification (NVQ/C&G)
• Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry

The role is initially till December 2025 but is expected to be extended and also a possibility to become permanent. 37 hours a week plus some possibility of overtime.

Expected salary

£38 – 19.38 per hour
