Mechanical Quality Inspector (Temp) – $30/hr jobs-near-me.org Orlando, FL

We are hiring a detail-oriented Mechanical Quality Inspector for a temporary assignment in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical inspection, CMM operation, and quality documentation within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on mechanical parts and tooling using precision measuring instruments
• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to verify part accuracy
• Use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to complete dimensional inspections
• Create and maintain QC databooks, balloon drawings, and dimensional reports in Excel
• Accurately enter inspection data into Excel, Word, and SharePoint systems
• Review blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain quality standards and support production timelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical quality inspection
• Hands-on experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools
• Strong data entry and computer skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
