We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Media Executive to join our global account team, working across several international accounts, including JD Sports, the largest high-street retailer for trainers and sport apparel across Europe and APAC. Tempur recognised by NASA as transforming sleep quality and Akzo Nobel, the proud parent company of Dulux and other iconic brands.

We are looking for a pro-active, confident, and self-starter who wants to come in and quickly grab the reins. Diligence and confident communication skills are key since the role will entail significant client and team interaction. Regularly speaking to clients and other EssenceMediaCom teams across the markets directly.

The successful candidate will be supported by a fantastic and knowledgeable team, who will teach, support and guide the successful candidate on their journey within the media industry.

The team structure is dynamic, offering the right candidate the opportunity to get involved in a great variety of projects and tasks. From media trends and audience insight, to fostering relationships with EssenceMediacom’s specialist teams and representing the team at company Lunch and Learns. No two days are the same! We like to have fun, without hierarchy and welcome thoughts and ideas from across the team.

Day to day tasks, includes conducting industry and category research, sourcing and analysing data, working closely with other local EssenceMediacom teams around the world, efficiently delivering administrative tasks, keeping up to date with the latest industry news, and presenting findings to clients. You will also be trained by our team to develop responsibility for maintaining client relationships, as well as working closely with other specialist teams within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the co-ordination and account management of JD Sports, Tempur and AkzoNobel
  • Work closely with local market teams to build a global view of our clients media campaigns
  • Conduct research and analyse data to inform and support our clients media strategies
  • Support the administrative day to day running of the account
  • Help the team build, maintain and improve client relationships
  • Work closely with other teams within the agency, such as business science, financial, as well as specialist buying teams
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, project plans, and presentations

What you will need to be successful

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Able to work with and interpret data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong experience of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • A genuine passion for media and advertising
