Step Teachers has partnered with a secondary school in the Newham area to recruit a Media Studies Teacher. This school is dedicated to achieving excellence. This school has high academic standards for all students, as well as positive personal and social growth. This is a supply role, starting ASAP.Media Studies Teacher – Role:

• Strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum.
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources, instruments, and equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• The Media Studies Teacher must be able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the school’s policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Media Studies Teacher – Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
• I have recent mainstream school-based experience as a media studies teacher in a secondary school setting.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
• A relevant Media Studies-related degree is desirable.
• Enhanced up-to-date DBS.
