Conducting assessments for patients referred to treatment and/or enrolled in services including triage, COWS, vitals.
Scheduling and preparing documentation for all admission physical assessments, annual physical assessments and follow up appointments with the medical provider.
Data enters all medication lists into the electronic health record for medication reconciliation purposes and as directed. Responsible for submitting and processing all medical records requests.
Conducting toxicology screening and phlebotomy in accordance with the program policy/procedure and regulatory frequency guidelines. * Strictly adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for patient information or copies of information.
Providing general cleaning maintenance of medical unit ensuring that it presents as a clean, comfortable, pleasant environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
Ordering, receiving and stocking required inventory of medical supplies as directed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Medical Assistant Certificate, Nursing Assistant Certificate and/or experience in a healthcare setting required, phlebotomy experience required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Computer experience and familiarity with Windows 2000, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word is required
Must successfully be accepted/complete DOC New Employee Orientation
