For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
*0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
*1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a 40 hour per week position

MaineHealth Pediatrics – Main St – Saco jobs-near-me.org MaineHealth is searching for a Medical Assistant! The Medical Assistant’s primary responsibilities include rooming patients, completing medication refills, managing follow-ups from endoscopy procedures, inputting labs, and abstracting charts. The ideal candidate is thoughtful and compassionate about the care they deliver, adaptable to the day-to-day changes in healthcare, and works collaboratively in a team setting.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
2. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
3. Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
