This position floats to satellite clinic locations of Breezy Point, Baxter, & Crosby – Super One. Hours vary between 8-10 hour shifts. Every other Saturday (4 hour shift) required.

A Day in the Life of a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) – Which Clinic

As a Clinic Medical Lab Technician, you will be pivotal in analyzing blood and other body fluids to aid in diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. Your duties include ensuring accurate and efficient testing, maintaining high standards of specimen integrity, and timely reporting of results, all of which are critical in the fast-paced environment of clinical laboratory work. Regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to integrate lab findings into overall patient care strategies. You will also operate and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment and maintain rigorous quality control to ensure the reliability of every test. The role encompasses both complex technical tasks and routine maintenance and clerical responsibilities to keep the laboratory functioning optimally.

About the Clinic Lab Department:

In the Clinic Laboratory at CRMC, we focus on outpatient diagnostics, wellness screenings, and chronic disease monitoring to support primary care providers and specialists. By providing early detection, preventative screenings, and efficient lab workflows, we help patients and providers stay ahead of health concerns before they become critical issues. Behind every diagnosis is a team of highly skilled technicians working with state-of-the-art equipment and rigorous quality standards to ensure fast, reliable results that guide patient care. Qualifications
education and ExperienceRequired
  • For CLIA: Able to provide a copy of the highest diploma or degree attained
  • ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification within one year of hire
  • Associate Degree in Medical Technology for Clinical Laboratory Science
