Job Description Purpose:
* Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Radiology is responsible for providing scientific and objective medical information to healthcare providers and researchers in therapeutic areas of interest to Clents Radiology.
* The MSL s responsible for developing and executing clinical/medical education strategies and providing training via in person, virtual and hybrid environments.
* MSL serves as medical and scientific support in the field for healthcare providers ensuring safe and effective use of Clients products including timely adverse event reporting and responses to unsolicited requests for detailed product, and disease state information.
* The MSL also develops a complete understanding of national and regional experts/thought leaders in specific therapeutic categories and the healthcare environment in which they work.
* MSL assists customers with best practices and a deep understanding of Radiology workflow.
* The MSL will collaborate with internal business partners as an expert consultant to meet specific scientific needs of internal and external contacts within specific therapeutic and geographic areas.
* The MSL will represent the company at scientific conferences, symposiums, and medical meetings.
* This is a remote role that will require up to 50% travel within the assigned territory with minimal overnight travel.
Education Requirements:
PharmD, MD, Ph.D, MBBS, or equivalent.
Key Working Relationships:
* The MSL primarily interacts with healthcare providers, researchers, radiographers, and academic experts in the field. This is a unique position within the organization as these highly trained, field-based individuals with cutting edge training represent Clients to its external customers via routine contacts and responses to requests for additional scientific information.
