*previous applicants not need apply”*Medical Support Secretary Neurosciences – Royal Stoke SiteWorking Days: Monday – FridayThe post holder is required to support the medical secretary in the delivery of comprehensive secretarial, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will assist medical and nursing colleagues in the organisation of the specialty team workload, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients/carers, ensuring compliance with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of inpatient waiting list management and typing correspondence and/or transcribing and typing up of minutes as appropriate. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office package

- Good general education to include GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Proven experience of transcribing/touch typing to a high standard
