Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for incoming enquiries through phone, email and 3rd party sites, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution and back to sales
• Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high-level service through pre-event, during event and post event.
• Attend weekly function sheet meetings
• Attend daily morning and afternoon catch ups
• Meet and greet prospective guests and conduct show rounds on property
• Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts and pro-forma’s
• Upsell to maximise revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
• Ownership for the management and conversion of assigned enquiries
• Event billing
• Correct use of systems process to ensure booking integrity, consistency & accuracy.

What You Will Need:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
• An interest in sales and the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities to support hotel revenue.
• Basic interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
