position Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform clerical duties related to the shipping, receiving and storage of raw materials, components, tooling, and equipment by performing the following duties:
Perform clerical duties related to the shipping, receiving and storage of raw materials, components, tooling, and equipment by performing the following duties:
- Complete shipping and receiving entries into applicable ERP platform to ensure inventory and location accuracy
- Quote, arrange and track incoming and outgoing shipments
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring maintenance of forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintaining inbound/outbound dock schedule
- Initiate appropriate telephone contact/email correspondence internally, with customers, and vendors as needed
- Work with Customer Service to ensure on-time shipping of finished goods adhering to customer requirements
- Audit inventory and issuing of packaging jobs and investigate/report discrepancies appropriate personnel
- Plan and communicate finished goods/material transfers between CAP locations as needed
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving duties as needed which includes safe operation of powered lift equipment
Knowledge/experience/Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
- Prioritizes excellent customer service with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
- Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Prior administrative experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
