PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leader in the Commercial Real Estate industry, is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to support facilities within a 50-mile radius of North Phoenix, AZ. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations of building systems while providing top-tier service across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and building systems. You’ll serve as the technical backbone of our operations, ensuring buildings remain safe, comfortable, and functional for all occupants.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Structural, Fire/Life Safety, and Control systems.
• Travel between facilities within a 50-mile radius to maintain and support building systems.
• Ensure proper function of HVAC systems through cleaning, calibrating, replacing parts, and recording system readings.
• Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action when issues arise.
• Oversee contracted maintenance, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, and facility services.
• Follow safety protocols, hazardous material guidelines, and workplace cleanliness standards.
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards to maintain a secure work environment.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• TRANE, CARRIER, LENNOX, RHEEM, AAON, and DAIKIN software experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Background in building engineering with technical expertise in packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair, and general maintenance.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Two years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $33.00 per hour
