Electrical Facilities Engineer (No On-Call)
📍 Haymarket, Edinburgh
💰 Circa £38,000 per annumJoin the team as a Static Facilities Services Engineer!We’re looking for a skilled Facilities Services Engineer to join a team at Haymarket Gate, Edinburgh. This static role with no on-call duties offers an exciting opportunity to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for our customer. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations while keeping essential building systems running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:✅ Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems
✅ Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and best practices
✅ Keep site logbooks up to date and maintain accurate stock records
✅ Respond to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and complete scheduled maintenance
✅ Attend site meetings, toolbox talks, and health & safety briefings as required
✅ Provide support to the Technical Supervisor and cover absences when necessary
✅ Perform building fabric maintenance and minor repairs as neededWhat we’re looking for:✅ Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK driving licence
• Completed apprenticeship and relevant trade qualifications (electrical bias preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience
• Strong knowledge of large mechanical and electrical systems, including Low Voltage Distribution & BMS
• Technical problem-solving skills and experience in planned maintenance

• Health & Safety training and qualifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in customer-facing roles
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse and dynamic team
