JMC Aviation is working with an MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Multi Skilled Facilities Handyman Person to join their team.This client is a leading MRO dealing with base maintenance as well as interior modifications, fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester, UK.Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week.Salary and Benefits– Competitive salary– 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays– 4x Life assurance– Employer pension contribution– Sick pay– Service awards from 2 yearsThe RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to work as part of a Facilities Team, assisting in the maintenance of the building, ground equipment and building schedules.Other duties involve– Assisting with managing contractors on site– Attending to breakdowns and reactive calls– Obtaining quotes for 3rd party work– Assisting Motor Transport Engineer on ground equipment and Electrician on building works– Assisting with office moves– Carrying out small to medium jobs such as painting, basic plumbing and basic joinery– Pat Testing of equipmentIn order to be successful in this role the Multi Skilled Facilities Handyman Person will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes– Ability to work at height– Fault finding detection/rectification/installation experience within a multi skilled background– Good all-round DIY skills– Computer literate– Electrical bias and IPAF licence desirable but not essential– Full clean UK drivers licence– Right to live and work in the UK– Subject to UK security vettingIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.JMC1
