National Account Manager II (Remote)

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned client portfolio of a national (local country) account(s) to include but not limited to client retention, contract negotiation, implementation and business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, staff development, business continuance and escalation of operational issues.

As a National Account Manager II, you will

• Build strong relationships at all levels within the client organization and become their credible partner for travel-related matters
• Ensure that BCD Travel is aware of any strategic changes within the client organization and recommend the formulation of a “best-fit” strategy
• Develop account plans through strong knowledge of the client’s business strategy, goals, priorities, and key issues
• Improve profitability where possible through pricing adjustment, technology introduction, or any other upselling opportunities
• Strong partnership within the team and other departments to meet customer requirements
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary and undertake any other reasonable duties as required

About you

• Prior travel management company or related business travel account experience desired
• Account management experience required
• Ability to act as a ‘business owner’ and own the growth/profitability of client portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of travel industry technology and business knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels comfortably
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of National Account Manager II is between $76,000 and $90,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
