Description of the Assignment: The primary objecHve of this consultancy is to provide technical experHse and support to UNDP Angola in advancing renewable energy projects and iniHaHves across the country.

The consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

• ConducHng assessments and analyses of UNDP renewable energy projects including evaluaHon of installed equipment and systems in 4 Provinces through field missions.

• Providing technical guidance and support in the design, implementaHon, and monitoring of renewable energy iniHaHves including quanHficaHon of energy needs, requirements and specificaHons and drajing Terms of Reference for procurement of renewable energy goods and services.

• CollaboraHng with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communiHes, to ensure the successful implementaHon of the acHviHes.

 

Period of assignment/services: 50 working days
