A leader in cardiology, the Servier Group is becoming a renowned and innovative player in oncology.National Service Delivery Manager (NSDM) – Targeted therapiesLocation: Field Based UKFull time, permanentMain ResponsibilitiesThis commercial role is accountable and responsible for partnership working with specific NHS localities to drive better patient outcomes through enhancing services and collaboratively addressing NHS capacity challenges. This role will support promotional field-based activities in order to achieve the national sales target and all other key commercial goals of the organisation.The successful candidate will:
- Identify, manage, and implement solutions with the NHS to improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with local healthcare Organisations (HCO’s) to deliver a more efficient service and increase capacity.
- Provide consultancy to senior NHS staff to identify the most tailored solutions to best meet their needs.
- Lead patient flow tracking activities and collaborate with NHS stakeholders to deliver service capacity efficiency, alongside improved patient experience and waiting times.
- Establish key milestones and KPIs for all projects.
- Introduce processes and procedures to effectively set up, manage and lead partnership projects.
- Promote effective cross-functional teamworking with sales, marketing, medical, market access and legal.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of NHS strategies, environment, funding flows and decision-making processes acting as a credible solution-based partner.
- Be seen as an expert in the understanding of NHS policies, service/operational procedures, strategic intent and objectives within all countries in the UK Proactively share insights with the cross functional team and all other appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure that all projects and communications are appropriate to the intended audience, comply with the ABPI code of practice and internal policies, directives, and standard operating procedures, including approval when necessary.
- Develop and manage an industry leading homecare service.
- Appoint appropriate homecare providers which allow Servier to differentiate its brands.
- Develop service level agreements, allowing key accounts to use Servier’s homecare service.
- Ensure that providers are monitored through regular KPI reviews.
- Ensure that patients are safely transitioned between providers where necessary.
- Embed and evaluate innovative ideas as well as the outcomes of Servier approved pilots to determine the commercial viability of rolling out projects on a national basis.
- Work with in-field teams to embed Servier projects into agreed pilot accounts.
- Work with pilot accounts and service providers to capture outcomes data.
- Develop and implement agreed scale up strategies which include but are not exclusive to the development of marketing literature, abstracts, posters, manuscripts and presentations at congresses.
- Create well defined project plans engaging all stakeholders.
- Function as an internal advisor to the senior leadership team (SLT) and head office and field based cross functional teams (CFT).
- Attend CFT meetings where appropriate to highlight new ideas, opportunities and relevant threats.
- Demonstrate leading edge knowledge of business and service planning in the NHS, along with NHS commissioning processes and policies.
- Provide pro-active advice to the Servier Leadership teams on commercial opportunities and service-related policy developments.
- Enabling all eligible patients to be treated by Servier therapeutic options.
- Targeting, profiling and development of TAEs to improve the level of product advocacy in key accounts.
- Appropriate allocation and use of internal resources.
- Providing education to stakeholders in relation to the in-license indications of Servier products.
- Optimising the use of multichannel communication to build and maintain trusting relationships with HCPs, developing brand and company awareness.
- Ensuring Servier products are positioned within local treatment guidelines to support access of appropriate medicines to all eligible patients.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Education / Certifications:
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
- ABPI
Experience:
- Previous experience in oncology is essential, ideally in targeted therapies.
- Local market access experience is essential with a proven track record of delivering solutions to enhance service capacity.
- Operations management experience / knowledge.
- Ideally experience of delivering a homecare service.
- A proven record in successful project scoping, strategic planning & project management
- Experience of managing complex projects with data protection and patient confidentiality needs.
- Proven experience in demonstrating a proactive and solution-based approach to NHS challenges.
