The Medical Staff Coordinatoris responsible forobtaining andmaintaininghospital privileges, government and commercial health plan membership andassistingin enrollment issues.TheMedical Staff Coordinator will work closely with new and existing providers, PracticeCoordinatorsand related departmentsto collect all items needed to obtain andmaintainall provider privileges and enrollment.The Medical Staff Coordinatoris responsible formeeting timelines for new providers.TheMedical Staff Coordinatorwill work with various agencies to obtain andmaintainlicensing for providers including state medical licensure, DEA certificate, CPR certification,tracking andmaintainingCME,delineation of privileges,maintainingcase logs, etc.

• Twoyears of medical credentialing experience.
• High School diploma or GEDrequired. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Cactus, Outlook,Word, Excel, PowerPoint orAccessand other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, performanalysisandmaintaindatabases.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and health plan credentialing, re–credentialingand enrollment process; licensure requirements and regulations of various agencies such as the board of Registration in Medicine, American Board of Medical Specialties and Individual Specialty Boards preferred normallyacquiredthrough related work experience.
