Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced 10+ years associate to work on a defined technology project to deliver complex solutions on planogram efficiency tools that will be integrated with Blue Yonder Application for shelf edge assortment optimization.
Must have experience working in Blue Yonder application.
Responsibilities:
- Works with project team to understand project timeline and priorities, and to deliver upon them accordingly.
- May engage / collaborate with Foundational Technology teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions; may engage with shared services teams and vendors.
- Ensures stories are appropriately defined, sized for accurate estimation, continuous integration, and incremental delivery with help from the team.
- Writes production-ready code and tests that meet acceptance criteria, are easily testable and documented.
- Debugs and troubleshoots moderately complex issues around the scope of work in which they operate.
- Identifies and communicates dependencies and blockers within the team. Escalates any blockers or delays to their team daily
10+ years of experience.
Required
o Programming Languages:
Moderate experience with .NET Core
Moderate experience with Angular
Good experience with SQL
o Experience implementing REST web services in .NET
o Experience using Docker to develop/containerize applications
o Experience integrating third-party identity providers into applications for authentication/authorization
o Experience using Blue Yonder Category Management software, APIs and database
Preferred
o Experience developing ASP.NET Core Web APIs
o Experience using/integrating Okta into custom applications
o Experience with software design principles
o Experience with deploying/configuring/debugging applications on the Kubernetes platform
o Experienced with Agile development methodologies
o Experienced with Confluence and Jira project management tool

o Need to be a self-starter with the ability to seek out help when unclear about priority and dependencies; take initiative to learn/develop needed skills.
o Team mentality: Collaborates well with team, by asking questions, sharing knowledge with their teammates, and contributing to their team’s documentation; ability to work collaboratively and/or independently on work.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BS in Science or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
