Location: Mountain Home, TN 37684
Duration: 1 year to Long-term
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon- Fri)
Pay Rate Range: $190-$200/Hour
Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive neurology consultations and assessments.
• Provide outpatient neurology clinic care (approx. 30 patients per clinic).
• Deliver bedside consultative services for non-ambulatory patients.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate necessary diagnostic and lab testing.
• Ensure consults and procedures are completed within 30 days of order.
• Be physically present during scheduled clinic hours.
• Attend required staff meetings as designated by the Chief of Service or Chief of Staff.
• Complete quality assurance and performance improvement documentation.
• Submit timely entries in the VA Patient Safety Reporting System (within 24 hours of any incident).
• Comply with all patient safety, infection control, and incident reporting standards.

Licensure & Certification:

• Valid, current, medical license from any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• MD or DO degree in Neurology or related field from an accredited institution.
