NIB is seeking a

CONTROLLER with emphasis on reporting development 

to join the Accounting Unit. The unit currently consists of 11 employees and is responsible for managing NIB’s financial controlling as well as internal and external financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner. We have strategic transformation initiatives ongoing, including replacing our ERP system as part of our ongoing digitalisation journey, and the future Controller will play a key role in supporting the project team in the implementation phase. This role gives a good platform for influencing and optimising the processes around NIB’s accounting and reporting activities.

Main responsibilities

• Support the project team, colleagues in the accounting team, and stakeholders in the ERP system implementation.
• Contribute to the development of accounting and reporting related activities, automate and streamline processes and tasks where possible.

• Be a key person in our monthly, interim and annual reporting.

• Act as a subject matter expert in areas allocated to the position.
• Perform recurring and ad hoc external and internal reporting related activities.

Required qualifications

• Some professional experience in accounting, auditing, and/or reporting development.

• Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

• Good IT and technical competencies; Power BI competence is an advantage.

• Strong interest in technical development as well as having the drive to keep your own competence up to date and contribute to the team’s way of working.

• Understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards is an advantage.

• Fluency in English is a prerequisite, both spoken and written; knowledge of one of the NIB member country languages is an advantage.

• Strong collaborative and team-working skills combined with proactive working style.
• Curiosity to learn new things and having a change mindset.
