NOC Supervisor

• Oversee daily shift operations in a 24/7 environment, ensuring optimal network performance and incident management
• Lead daily stand-ups and shift turnovers, maintaining clear communication across the team
• Monitor ticket queues, prioritize responses, and assist with complex troubleshooting or escalations
• Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with NOC analysts and operators
• Approve PTO requests, manage staffing schedules, and coordinate coverage
• Analyze network performance dashboards, identify trends, and collaborate with engineering teams on ongoing issues and planned changes
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare operational reports
• Ensure smooth handoffs between shifts and reinforce operational discipline, communication, and accountability

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in a NOC, IT operations, or technical support role
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills including TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing, and switching
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and effective during high-pressure incidents
• Interest in developing leadership and supervisory skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certifications such as CCNA, Network+ or equivalent
• Experience with automation tools or network security fundamentals
• Previous experience in a 24/7 operational environment

Preferred education & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience supervising or leading technical teams in fast-paced settings

Other Requirements:

• This position requires working non-standard hours, including overnight shifts and weekends, to support 24/7 operations
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
