  • A Bachelor’s level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in aeronautics or in a related discipline.
  • Experience either in National/International Governmental Organisations or Industry as a logistician in the field of aviation maintenance/aviation upgrade project implementation.
  • Leadership experience in military or civilian aviation programmes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fixed wing aircraft operations, encompassing major aircraft, component & engine DLM management, airworthiness regulations (EMAR, EASA, FAA standards etc.), certification processes, and quality assurance standards in military and/or civilian aviation environments.
  • Broad experience in management of military or commercial aircraft or engine DLM programmes, preferably on large multi-engine aircraft types.
  • Ability to provide analysis and decision support to the customer in the areas of fleet planning, requirements development, budget forecast & preparation, maintenance policy, Source of Repair (SOR) activation/certification.
  • Recognised project management certification [e.g. PRINCE 2® Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP)] and demonstrated knowledge of and experience in project management.
  • NATO’s official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 365.21, tax free.

NSPA staff members of the same grade can submit a transfer request till 07 September 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.

Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.
