Nurse Educator in Odessa, Texas

Position Summary:

Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates education for nursing personnel to include orientation, in-service training, staff development and continuing education. Assists with staffing and provides direct patient care. Participates in Nursing Quality Improvement activities. Assists in the implementation and evaluation of patient and/or family teaching.

Education:

Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required (or actively pursuing). Master’s degree preferred. Certification as a BLS Instructor within 6 months of hire.

Training and Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience, 1 year teaching experience preferred.
