Employment Type: Full-Time (Grant/Contract Funded)
- Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day management for the TA Center.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with program staff, evaluators, statewide contractors, subgrantees, and external partners.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality technical assistance, coaching, compliance monitoring, professional learning, and capacity-building services for subgrantees.
- Lead development and implementation of annual work plans, project timelines, reporting systems, and continuous improvement processes.
- Supervise TA Center staff, consultants, and subcontractors, including delegation of responsibilities and oversight of performance expectations.
- Coordinate and facilitate statewide and regional professional development events, conferences, webinars, and communities of practice.
- Oversee implementation of site monitoring visits, corrective action follow-up activities, and compliance-related technical assistance.
- Ensure delivery of data-informed support aligned to state priorities, Annual Performance Reports (APRs), Quality Self-Assessments (QSAs), evaluations, and program monitoring findings.
- Support development and maintenance of tools, guidance documents, newsletters, websites, and resources for subgrantees.
- Collaborate with the other TA Centers, statewide evaluator, and statewide data contractor to align technical assistance and monitoring activities.
- Build collaborative and supportive relationships with school districts, community-based organizations, OST providers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation and submission of quarterly and annual reports, deliverables, and other contract documentation.
- Ensure all project activities comply with federal and state regulations, grant requirements, accessibility standards, and organizational quality standards.
- Master’s degree or higher in education, youth development, public administration, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant programmatic and/or administrative experience in out-of-school time (OST) programming, youth development, education programs, or related initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality technical assistance, professional learning, coaching, or capacity-building services.
- Experience managing complex projects, contracts, grants, or multi-partner initiatives.
- Strong understanding of youth development, expanded learning opportunities, and evidence-based educational practices.
- Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage timelines and deliverables, and coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel periodically throughout New York State, including overnight travel as needed.
- Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, public policy, youth development, or a related field.
- Experience working with federally funded education or youth-serving programs.
- Knowledge of academic recovery strategies, STEM education, multilingual learner supports, and youth engagement practices.
- Experience implementing and evaluating youth development or expanded learning programs.
- Experience conducting monitoring, compliance, continuous improvement, or program evaluation activities.
- Experience supporting statewide initiatives or technical assistance centers.
- Familiarity with 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) programs or similar federally funded initiatives.
