Job description

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Documentation: Prepare necessary documentation, including Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and pro forma invoices.
  • Coordination: Coordinate daily product movements with sales teams and customers.
  • System Management: Confirm product availability and create orders in the JDE system.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Collaborate with the warehouse team for orders requiring fittings.
  • Customer Interaction: Pre-call customers as needed before shipment.
  • Data Management: Perform data entry tasks in JDE and DSI systems.
  • Communication: Liaise with customer service via email and phone to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies and complete necessary corrections.
  • Logistics Tracking: Monitor and track proof of delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in monthly and year-end inventory processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all third-party personnel have completed the onsite safety video and required safety sign-offs.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE) is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mathematical Competence: Strong mathematical skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Valid forklift license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
