Main Job Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Prepare necessary documentation, including Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and pro forma invoices.
- Coordination: Coordinate daily product movements with sales teams and customers.
- System Management: Confirm product availability and create orders in the JDE system.
- Warehouse Coordination: Collaborate with the warehouse team for orders requiring fittings.
- Customer Interaction: Pre-call customers as needed before shipment.
- Data Management: Perform data entry tasks in JDE and DSI systems.
- Communication: Liaise with customer service via email and phone to address inquiries and concerns.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies and complete necessary corrections.
- Logistics Tracking: Monitor and track proof of delivery.
- Inventory Management: Participate in monthly and year-end inventory processes.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all third-party personnel have completed the onsite safety video and required safety sign-offs.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE) is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical Competence: Strong mathematical skills.
- Physical Requirements: Valid forklift license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
