Job Description

Position Overview

Our UK office (George Street, Edinburgh) opened in June 2022 and is growing. We have significant further growth ambitions for the UK and we now have the need for an office manager to join the UK team.

The Office Manager, working part time, will provide daily support and administrative assistance to the Edinburgh office, working across a broad range of activities, including having the ability to manage and proactively build relationships across Invenergy offices and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with internal teams such as Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal etc
  • Scheduling events and organizing attendees
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Overseeing travel arrangements
  • Anticipate needs of the Team and resolve operational and administrative issues before they arise.
  • Manage regular team meetings.
  • Leverage technology to prepare and edit presentations and reports and maintain electronic records

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluency in the English language spoken and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Share Point.
  • Willingness to learn company IT systems.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Has a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Able to influence others and communicate tactfully to accomplish complex assignments requiring cross-organization cooperation.
  • Has a proven track record of being calm and focused under pressure, maintaining professional interactions with associates at all levels and establishing rapport quickly.
  • Always maintains a high-level of confidentiality.
  • Self-directed, reliable, and independent when necessary to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize time sensitive and competing issues.
  • Professional, positive, and resilient.
