The Division of Physical Therapy is seeking an Spanish interpreters to assist at a physical therapy lab (REACH) that offers free services to uninsured and underinsured populations.
Primary duties: The clinic operates every Thursday evening on North campus from 3:30 – 7:30PM during fall and spring semesters.
Duties include: verbal interpretation between physical therapy students and Spanish-speaking lab participants, assisting with intake and consent forms, interpreting medical intake forms for students, and typing Spanish instructions for home exercise programs and other patient education documents.
Applicants should be committed to attending every Thursday evening during fall and spring semesters from October through April.

High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Certification/Licensure
Interpreter/Translator Certificate and/or Certificate of Competency from an approved Interpreter/Translator training program.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
