Job Summary: |
The general function of this position is to provide administrative, academic, and clinical support to providers and fellows in the Department of Neurology. Administrative support includes literature searches, making travel arrangements, preparing grant applications, documents, and letters, proofreading, assisting with manuscript preparation and reference management, and maintaining patient databases. Clinical support primarily includes interfacing between the patient and provider for scheduling, assistance in obtaining prescriptions, follow-up on care issues, etc. Organizing and scheduling conferences and meetings, assisting with keeping credentials and licenses up-to-date. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Key Responsibilities:

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

The Neurology non-ACGME Fellowship Coordinator, under the direction of the Education Program Director, is responsible for managing various aspects of the department’s non-ACGME fellowship programs, educational courses, conferences, and events. This position coordinates the non-ACGME Fellowship programs with recruitment, accreditation efforts, course programming, database updates, and reimbursements. This position will be expected to utilize knowledge, expertise, and best practices in the design and successful operation of various educational experiences that support the department’s mission of providing high-quality educational programs.
