position Overview

The Operational Continuous Improvement Engineer serves as a strategic operational leader focused on systematically enhancing JLL’s real estate operations through process improvements, cost reduction, and service delivery optimization. This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on implementation to drive operational excellence across the commercial real estate portfolio.

Core Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Design

• Document and map existing operational processes using value stream mapping and process mining techniques
• Conduct comprehensive workflow analysis and gap assessments
• Design optimized future-state processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
• Develop standardized SOPs and quality control frameworks

Data Analytics & Performance Management

• Establish KPIs and collect operational data from IWMS, BMS, and ERP systems
• Create executive dashboards and real-time performance monitoring tools
• Develop predictive models for operational performance and maintenance forecasting
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunities

Project Leadership

• Lead cross-functional improvement projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $2M+
• Manage stakeholders across operations, facilities, IT, and finance departments
• Coordinate resource allocation and timeline management for multiple concurrent initiatives
• Implement project governance with stage-gate reviews

Technology Integration

• Assess technology stack and identify automation opportunities
• Deploy RPA, BPM, and workflow automation solutions
• Support PropTech adoption and digital transformation initiatives
• Create technology roadmaps aligned with operational objectives

Required Qualifications

education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of process improvement experience with 1-2 years of leadership experience
• Real estate, facilities management, or property operations experience preferred

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
• Advanced analytics skills with Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
• Knowledge of operational technology systems and database management
• Project management principles and tools expertise
