Job Details:Salary Range: £40,041 – £41,767 per annum, plus 10% Training Allowance

Closing Date: 5 January 2025The Role:Are you a dedicated and skilled trainer looking to make a difference in the fire service?We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operational Service Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our firefighters.Key Responsibilities:

• Effective Time Management: Optimize your time to ensure efficient delivery of L&D courses and support activities, aligning with the L&D Business Plan and delivery models.
• Resource Optimization: Utilize equipment and resources efficiently to maximize training effectiveness.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external departments to support income generation through training initiatives, such as Service Exercises, Prevention teams, LRF, 3SFire, and other agency training.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities and work across different departments as needed to support the overall goals of the organization.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant training and assessment qualifications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Passion for training and development.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in delivering training within the fire service.
• Knowledge of current fire service regulations and standards.
• Commitment to safety and excellence.
