Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The intern will assist with daily tasks and projects, contributing to meaningful work that aligns with their academic background and career goals.
Summer internship from May 2026-August 2026
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with ongoing projects and contribute ideas to support team goals
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports or presentations
- Participate in meetings, take notes, and help with follow-up tasks
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and complete assignments
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and document organization
- Learn and use company tools and software to complete tasks
- Present a final project or report summarizing experience and key learnings (if directed) at end of the internship
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or relevant tools
- Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or related work experience
- Familiarity with [industry-specific tools, e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Python, Salesforce, etc.]
- Interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing or engineering
