We are seeking dynamic and experienced Operations Managers to join our manufacturing team. These roles are critical in leading day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and people-first leadership.

A Day in the Life
  • – Lead production teams and shift leaders; set clear targets and coach through Gemba and structured feedback.
  • – Own and implement a lean daily management system (tier meetings, short-interval control, problem escalation).
  • – Drive continuous improvement initiatives: 5S, SMED, TPM elements, A3 problem solving, kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
  • – Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to remove constraints and improve flow.
  • – Translate operational performance into financial outcomes (understand standard cost, absorption, variance drivers).
  • – Recruit, onboard, and develop talent; ensure succession for critical roles.
  • – People-first leader with strong floor presence and ability to earn respect from hourly teams.
  • – Craves process discipline and standard work; avoids ad-hoc or ‘cowboy’ approaches.
  • – Calm under pressure with fanatical integrity; safety and quality are non-negotiable.
  • – Action-oriented decision maker who embraces change and transformation.
  • – Continuous improvement mindset with hands-on experience in lean tools (A3, VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM).
  • – Financially savvy; connects operational decisions to P&L impact (yield, scrap, overtime, conversion cost).
You Bring This Value
  • – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • – Prior people leadership experience preferred but not mandatory for elite performers.
  • – Experience in polymer compounding is not required; adjacent manufacturing experience is acceptable.
  • – Lean Manufacturing skills and continuous improvement experience are a plus.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,600.00- $161,400.00. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
