What You’ll Do
-
Oversee subcontracted medium-voltage corrective maintenance (CM) activities, ensuring safe, compliant,cost efficient, andtimelyresponse acrossallCommercial and Industrial(C&I)and Utility sitesin North America and Latin America

Manage the Preventative Maintenance (PM)BoPprogram, including transformer inspections, oil testing, switchgear service, and relatedgrid tiedequipment maintenance

Develop and enforce technical standards and work procedures for subcontractors performing MV electrical and transformer maintenance, ensuring adherence to Tesla and utility requirements

Collaborate with internal engineering, fieldservice,training,and asset management teams to prioritize maintenance activitiesand align solutions

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) andscope of work developmentwith Electrical Engineering

Monitor subcontractor performance and safety metrics, providing feedback and coaching tomaintainaccountability, quality, and compliancewith Tesla standards

Serve as a technical advisor and escalation point for field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders regarding MV systems,BoPequipment, and corrective maintenance best practices
What You’ll Bring
- Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master required; MV qualification strongly preferred) or Degree in Electrical Engineering with relatable background, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working in electrical operations, maintenance, or field engineering, with a focus ongridtied systems
- Proven experience managing medium-voltage electrical systems (1kV+) and transformer or switchgear maintenance
- Strong understanding of BESS, PV, and substation electrical systems, including one-lines, relays, andswitchingprotocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors or field teams performing complex electrical work under utility safety and compliance standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, work management systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow, or equivalent), and technical documentation tools needed for communicated to other internal departments; Field Service, Engineering, and Asset Management
- Highly motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and driving operational excellence
