Summary of Position (Job Purpose) – Major purpose and functions of the position.

• This role will support the continuity and improvement of all Dollar Tree store operational processes, including managing store service programs, and processes and being the subject matter expert on projects that will deliver Dollar Tree operational excellence. In addition, this role will be responsible for analyzing business results of key Dollar Tree programs, processes, and projects to recommend changes to improve results.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities – Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance

• Manage existing Dollar Tree store programs, including leveraging subject matter experts to assess need, plan the eligibility requirements, facilitate the roll-out of the programs, and follow up with field leadership on execution.
• Own select Dollar Tree operational reporting and partner with store operations analytics to develop key reports to measure success of operational programs and processes and recommend changes to improve business results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to include Merchandising, Training, Field Communications, etc. to ensure all store operating procedures, current training documents, and communications related to the programs are accurate and up to date.
• Provide analysis and expertise to support the development of Dollar Tree store operating procedures, training documents, and any related communications for new programs and rollouts.
• Support store operational technology, systems, and process enhancements.
• Partner and travel with field leaders and stores to proactively identify opportunities to improve field experience and deliver operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications – Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.

• Strong analytical abilities with demonstrated success in translating analysis into executable action
• Strong critical thinking, organization, and follow up abilities
• Ability to navigate within various pieces of technology both as an end user and as a subject matter expert to support the store teams
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications – Desired but not required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field
• 3 – 5 years of experience in retail, other service industries, or in “project manager” capacity
