8a-6:30p x three shifts, and 8a-4p x 1 shift weekly,

Job Overview:

In collaboration with the Endoscopy Registered Nurse, the Endoscopy Technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age specific care to patient, maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patient s physiologic responses to procedures performed,

Complies with standard guidelines on care and handling of scopes, and reports when repairs are needed,

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program,
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation,

Preferred:

N/A

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Current BLS required
• CER certification preferred

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
