Order Processing Specialist

Summary of position/Purpose:

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for the entry and processing of customer’s purchase orders within the set policies and guidelines.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Sales order entry
• Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests
• Ensure orders on credit hold are reviewed and released in a timely manner
• Work with the Shipping department to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and, in accordance with requested shipping method
• Ensure each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes
• Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Open service orders for new/used/rental units prior to shipping
• Perform warehouse transfers
• Indirectly responsible for product quality
• Other duties as assigned

education and/or Work experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• A minimum of 2+ years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities
• Excellent communication both verbally and in writing
• Attention to detail
• Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry)
• Prior experience utilizing an ERP system is a must

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
