“The following positions within Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry, Inpatient Adult Psychiatry, Psychiatric Emergency Services, CARES, and Outpatient Behavioral Health Services are offering the opportunity to enroll in a program offering a cash incentive to recognize your work treating patients with substance use disorders. This program is sponsored through the ACCESS (Advancing Careers, Competencies, and Equity in Substance Treatment Services) grant. Employees must be >0.6 FTE to be eligible. 50% of the bonus will be received 90 days after signing the program contract. Program is available until grant funds are exhausted.
* Registered Nurses (RNs) may earn up to $7,500
* Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) may earn up to $3,500
* Care Navigators may earn up to $3,505″
Job Summary
The Psychologist, Adult provides clinical services to adults. This doctoral level professional provides individual psychotherapy, expert diagnostic assessment, case coordination, and case management. Couples, family or group psychotherapy may also be provided. Standardized psychological testing may be performed but is not a core component of this job. The Psychologist is expected to have skills and abilities with a wide range of moderate to severe psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and sequelae of traumatic stress. Multicultural competence is essential. This position functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and provides clinical leadership for other staff members and for trainees working with the team.
There are additional opportunities to be involved in data monitoring and research projects. The Psychologist participates as a faculty member for the accredited internship program and participates in provision of supervision and teaching. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Outpatient Psychologists will work in an outpatient clinic where they have a caseload for which they provide assessment, brief interventions, and long-term psychotherapy.
