Outpatient Therapist, Twin Cities – Hybrid or Onsite

<div class="isg-job-description“>CARE Counseling, part of the Optum family of businesses is seeking Licensed Outpatient Therapists to join our teams in the Twin Cities. 
Therapists can choose to work onsite or a hybrid arrangement that includes 2 days/week in the office. There is additional flexibility in the number of billable hours/total hours worked per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
 

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

 
Required Qualifications:
 

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science/related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family therapy, Social Work, education, etc.)
• Active, independent clinical license as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT)
