Role description

Role Proficiency:

With strong knowledge and competence independently carry out the assigned tasks with minimal support from the supervisors. Handle the internal audits to ensure the compliance requirements of various applicable standards and more independently handle VAPT/Red Teaming assignments and involve in customer discussions to identify requirements. (Minimum Supervision)

Outcomes:

1. Handle the assigned tasks from the allocated domain with minimal guidance from the leads. (Domain Examples: BCMS Risk assessment Incident management HITRUST SOC Customer Assurance Awareness activities Data Privacy VAPT Red Teaming etc.)
2. Should independently handle internal audits (with minimal support from the leads) to ensure compliance with ISO 27001/ISO 22301/ISO 27701 requirement as well as process specific requirements.
3. Responsible for the effective documentation of internal audits (reports) with accurate mapping to control points.
4. Point out the non-conforming areas and suggest measures to improve the information security posture.
5. Understand IT Controls implementation and to conduct Risk Assessment.
6. Involve with the leads in customer discussions to clearly identify/document the requirement.
7. Perform Security Assessment scoping independently based on security standards like OWASP.
8. Perform Web Application Penetration Testing Network Penetration Testing Mobile Penetration Testing and Code Review independently based on the guidance from leads.
9. Learn and understand existing and emerging security practices with minimal guidance from the leads.
10. Mentor A1 and A2 band employees
11. Independently handle preparatory sessions and evidence collections from all applicable teams as part of any external audits
12. Independently contribute to infosec awareness activities
13. Contribute to establish a tracking and reporting strategy.

Measures of Outcomes:

1. Number of internal audits conducted or security assessments been a part of.
2. Number of Areas of responsibility on cross domains
3. Number of NCs in external audits
4. Less than two stake holder escalations
5. More than two appreciation from the stakeholders

Process:

1. Internal ISMS audits – independently carry out audits
   prepare audit reports and ensure timely closure of audit reports
2. Compliance Audits – Representation in certification audits
   conduct preparatory session and evidence collection
3. Infosec activities – training material
   conducting sessions
   co-ordinate with other teams for trainings conducting
4. Customer Assurance – assist in customer assurance requirements and evidence collection
5. Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing/Red Teaming Activities
6. CM activities
7. Assisting the leads in executing other location responsibilities.

Monitoring:

1. Mentoring and monitoring the responsibilities of A1 and A2 band employees

Training or certifications:

1. 3 per year (1 certification and minimum 2 of UST training related to Information/Cyber Security domains)

• Should have a strong understanding of concepts of Information Security Business Continuity Data Privacy VAPT Red Teaming and various compliance standards.
  1. Knowledge on ISO and other Compliance standards efficient to evaluate the security controls.
  2. Knowledge on ISO 22301/27001/9001/27701 Risk Management incident management awareness activities customer assurance etc.
  3. Knowledge on standard SDLC and project management life cycles.
  4. Knowledge on the operations of various functional units like HR REFM IT Finance etc. and units involved in IT Asset lifecycle management.
  5. Expert on security testing standards like OWASP Top
  7. Expert on Linux commands.
  8. Expert on Scripting Languages like Shell Script Python etc.
  9. Development and Testing knowledge would an added advantage.
  10. Hands on experience in RSA Archer Burp Suite Nessus Nmap Postman Genymotion MobSF Drozer etc.

  “Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to join our growing CTI team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored threat intelligence services to specific customers, analyzing, interpreting, and disseminating actionable intelligence to enhance their security posture against advanced threats. This role combines technical expertise, analytical skills, and customer interaction to provide impactful, tailored intelligence. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer for CTI services. * Deliver tailored threat intelligence reports, briefings, and recommendations based on customer-specific requirements and risk profiles. * Monitor, analyze, and interpret data from open sources, deep and dark web forums, and proprietary feeds to identify threats relevant to customers. * Track adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and assess their relevance to customers’ environments. * Collaborate with internal teams (SOC, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting) to enrich intelligence with contextual data. * Assist in incident investigations by providing threat actor attribution, IOC enrichment, and TTP analysis. * Develop and recommend mitigation strategies and preventative measures for ongoing threats. * Continuously refine intelligence methodologies and workflows to improve service delivery. * Conduct continuous research on cyber threats and trends in open, deep, and dark web. * Monitor trending vulnerabilities and malware to enhance cyber defense. * Share weekly and ad-hoc reports and walkthroughs with the client security team. * Perform targeted threat intelligence leveraging organization-specific assets. Key Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MSc in Information Security is preferred. * 3+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, or a related cybersecurity role. * Deep understanding of cyber threats and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). * Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, Kill Chain). * Proficiency in analyzing malware, phishing campaigns, and threat actor behavior. * Experience with tools like OpenCTI, ThreatConnect, or similar platforms. * Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR platforms. * Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, OS, databases, and web applications. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver technical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Customer-centric mindset. Experience with customer interaction. * High level of English – spoken and written. * Industry certifications such as GCTI, CTIA, CISSP, or CEH are a plus.
