Job Summary:

During the 6-month co-op block there will be opportunities for the student to work in the Global Packaging Department which is a segment of our Packaging Innovation Technical Group. The student will be responsible for supporting engineering activities in the area of structural package design, packaging equipment design and supporting documentation.

• Strong package engineering skills and practices
• Understanding of distribution environments and related simulation testing
• Understanding of packaging equipment design and material interface
• Good technical risk assessment and analytical skills
• Ability to offer viable packaging recommendations within the constraints of time, cost, quality and delivery
• Good organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks concurrently
• May be required to participate in special projects as appropriate
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma is beneficial

• Minitab or equivalent

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $21.50 and $25.50 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
