Packaging Operator

Local chemical facility (Theodore, AL) is looking for a full-time Machine/Packaging Operator

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE.

THESE ARE ROTATING (12Hr) SHIFT POSITIONS

Pay Range: $21.91 – $26.26

Activities would include:

• Minimum 1-3 years industrial experience
• Operate heavy equipment including: extensive forklift experience a MUST
• CDL Preferred
• Experience in loading/unloading and packaging of product
• Work around rotating/moving equipment while packaging
• Manually handles various materials.
• Regularly work at heights including off the top of ladders and the top of railcars and bulk truck trailers.
• Routinely climb ladders and stairs to perform various tasks.
• Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
• Be able to respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues.
• Be able to maneuver and work in confined spaces to clean out and prep equipment and perform basic maintenance functions.
