Job Title: Packer

Job Description

Join our team as a packer, where you will be responsible for working at the end of the production line, removing products, counting them according to the order sheet, and packing them into boxes for shipment to customers. You will report to your supervisor at the start of each shift, be assigned to a line for the day, and receive cross-training between different lines during your initial weeks. Duties may include applying labels, stacking, packing boxes, and managing scrap parts. Additionally, you will need to complete work orders based on the day’s production run.

Responsibilities

• Remove products from the production line and pack them according to order sheets.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (typically up to 20 lbs as products are generally light).
• Proficiency in English to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Knowledge of injection molding, injection mold, and injection molding machines.
• General production skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with extrusion or injection molding.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment where safety glasses are provided and must be worn at all times. The facility is temperature-controlled. All breaks are paid, including one 15-minute break and one 30-minute break per shift. The shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 7am-3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm-11pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm-7am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00/hr.
