Your Role 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Paid Search Supervisor to lead our search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives specifically for the pharmaceutical sector. This pivotal role will involve establishing best practices for SEM tailored to compliance within the pharmaceutical industry while leveraging emerging technologies to optimize our search campaigns. The Paid Search Supervisor will collaborate with a talented team of media subject matter experts, including specialists in programmatic advertising, ad operations, social media, and SEO, to ensure an integrated and effective digital marketing strategy in adherence to industry regulations. Responsibilities: 

Best Practices Development 

• Establish and implement SEM best practices across the organization
• Continuously review and refine SEM strategies to align with business objectives, maximizing ROI on search campaigns
• Create consistent QA process to ensure all campaigns meet organizational standards and align with new best practices

Trend Analysis and Adaptation 

• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to SEM
• Identify opportunities for the adoption of innovative tools and techniques that enhance search performance

Campaign Management 

• Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to achieve targeted KPIs
• Conduct regular campaign analysis and leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions regarding bidding strategies, keyword selection (including relevant therapeutic areas), ad copy, and audience targeting

Team Collaboration 

• Collaborate closely with the Center of Excellence team to implement integrated marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions
• Provide guidance and support both internally to brand team members and assist in their day-to-day campaign management, as well as externally acting as a technical voice to clients for SEM, providing strategic recommendations and campaign updates
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Manage and create training documentation for setup and campaigns management, as well as standardized pacing and performance documentation to make SEM process consistent team to team

Reporting and Analytics 

• Develop and maintain SEM performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Analyze and present data to evaluate the effectiveness of search campaigns, using key performance indicators to demonstrate success and inform future strategies
• Develop Search Testing Process that allows us to systematically test new strategies and prove out new tactics and develop case study materials
• Provide forecasts and budgetary recommendations based on campaign analysis and market trends specific to the pharmaceutical landscape

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in SEM/Digital Marketing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with a proven track record of successful campaign management
• Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, SA360, Google Analytics and relevant SEM tools (e.g., SEMrush) with an understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations
• Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Knowledge of SEM best practices and how they apply to the pharmaceutical industry to effectively integrate search strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate cross-functional teams on SEM strategies and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to staying informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and a passion for continuous learning

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$90,000—$110,000 USD
